What is a PDF
PDF stands for (Portable Document Format) and is a document created by Adobe in the 1990’s.
PDF’s are designed so they can be read in the same format and style regardless of the machine it was created or read on and independent of operating systems or software used to read it.
A Great FREE PDF Reader
The biggest complaints we here from our customers using Adobe Acrobat Reader is, it’s too big, invasive, slow and bloated.
Although Adobe Acrobat reader is a great free PDF reader, a lot of people are looking for another great free alternative which is light and quick and I thinking Sumatra PDF will tick most the box’s.
If you have a new computer with Windows 10 on it, Microsoft would like you to use Microsoft Edge which is a web browser to view PDF’s. For most people that’s a big NO, so a lot of people have turned to Sumatra PDF instead.
Sumatra PDF does not edit PDF’s – just for reading.
