Whether you have a brand new computer, or you have reset your old one, you have a big job on your hands.
As well as having to update the operating system and upgrade the programs which came with it, you are also going to have to download and install the programs you are use to using and the programs you will want.
The traditional way to do this is to go to each individual website of the program you want, download tham all one by one and then go through the process of installing them.
This can take hours, sometimes even days. But there is a much better way.
Introducing Ninite
Ninite is the fastest way to download, install and upgrade programs automatically in the background of your computer.
How it works is, you first go to www.ninite.com, click on the programs you want to update and download and install and click “Get Your Ninite”.
You will instantly download a Ninite instruction file which you click on and it will do the rest. The file does not have all the downloads you have requested, but it will go and get them individually in the background while you are still working.
You must keep your internet and computer on for this to work, but before you know it you will see icons start appearing on your screen of all the latest versions of programs you have selected. It’s that simple!

What to do when finished
Once your Ninite download has finished downloading and installing the software you need, there is nothing else for you to do.
Depending on what you installed you might need to restart your computer, but either way, you can delete your downloaded Ninite setup file.
