Compared to computers, laptops and Mac computers, Ipads do not have as many problems, viruses etc.

The way the operating system (IOS) on the Ipad is designed is to only install software from the Itunes store helps prevent a lot of software problems such as poorly written apps, harmful code, or applications of bad taste.

Also with Ipads there are a lot less inputs and less ways to add software to your system. An Ipad is not the same as your desktop or laptop, so it does not come with a lot of the inherited problems but the flip side to that is it also doesn’t come with a lot of the same benefits.

With that said, and built with security and performance in mind, Ipads still have a lot of computer like problems.

Wifi Connection Problems

Many people who have an Ipad, one time or another, will have problems connecting to a wireless network. Unlike a computer or laptop there is no ether LAN (Local Area Network Port) so having wireless problems is a big deal as it renders you connectionless.

Fortunately it’s not hard to reset your Ipad network settings.

Click on General – Scroll to the bottom where it says reset – Reset Network Settings.

This will solve most network issues and if you are still having problems it might be something physical. If you are able to connect to other wireless networks it might just be that particular network your Ipad has issues with.

Note: Make sure when you reset you Ipad network settings you do not reset your whole Ipad. Always a good idea to have everything like contacts and phones backed up to your computer first before doing to much work on your Ipad.

Ipad not charging

We all have multiple usb cords now for different devices such as external hard drives, computer, phones and Ipads.

Without noticing we sometimes use them between different devices, even the ones they didn’t come with. Most of the time this isn’t a problem but sometimes with Ipads, the do and do not charge unless you are using the original or genuine Ipad charge cable.

This can apply to Itunes also. Some cables will work to transfer data from your Ipad to your computer into itunes and some will not. It is always best to use your genuine stocked Apple Ipad or Iphone specific cable.

Screen Freezing

Your Iphone or Ipad screen freezing is probably one of the most common problems of all devices.

Most times this is caused by some type of conflict between Apps and or Operating System or corruption. When it happens it is always at the wrong time and whatever you were doing on the screen will probably be lost and have to be done again.

If you are unable to turn your Ipad or Iphone off so you can restart it again you can try to force a reboot by holding down the Home key and the sleep/wake button simultaneously.
