Facebook is an awesome way to stay in contact with friends and family. I have been using Facebook from when it first started years ago.

As well as communicating with people, Facebook can be used for a wide range of subjects now such as research, information, job hunting buying and selling, news and yes spying on people.

We are all probably guilty of it, looking up and old crush, or someone we don’t like.

But did you know a lot of legitimate companies are using Facebook to find out information about you. Such as what you would be interested in buying, or in general how they can make a profit from you.

I tell all my customers WWW (World Wide Web) should really stand for Wild Wild West. Just like in the real world the internet has been who love you and hate you. And just like in the real world there are a lot of people who want to do business and make money from you.

Most of the information you put on Facebook you can decide who and who does not see it.

But, where lots of people are becoming undone is through the use of apps.

Whether you know it or not, every time you use your Facebook login within Facebook to join an app or outside of Facebook on a website you need a Facebook account to join you are opening up your privacy and information for that particular app or website to access.
